Students
Stonegate Student Ministry serves 6th - 12th grade students. Our experienced staff is committed to building truths into students that lead to a risk-taking and courageous faith. Stonegate students attend the Sunday service with their family. Here is when we meet during the week:
- Day: Wednesday Night
- Time: 7:00pm - 8:15pm
- Place: Conference Center in Midlothian
With that, here is more information in regards to the Stonegate Student Ministry and what we do on Wednesday nights:
GOAL: to make disciples
MEANS: Gospel, Community & Mission
- Gospel: A disciple understands who God is, the fall of man, and the work of Christ. In short, a disciple knows the Gospel.
- Community: A disciple experiences deep, fruitful relationships with other believers. In short, a disciple is in Christian Community.
- Mission: A disciple engages in the mission of God by sharing the Gospel with non-believers. In short, a disciple is On-Mission.
HOW: We meet every Wednesday night at the Conference Center from 7:00pm - 8:15pm. In light of the above Goal and Means, here is how we structure the Student Ministry (Note: "On Ramps" are events that we do in addition to our weekly meetings. "On Ramps" are designed to help strengthen and augment Gospel, Community and Mission.):

COMMUNICATION: There are four primary ways for you to stay in the know as to what is happening in the Student Ministry (the first 3 listed below are the MOST important!):
- THE CITY: The City is our primary means of communication to parents. For more information about The City as well as instructions on how to sign up for The City, go HERE. Once you have signed up to join The City, make sure you search for and join the "Students Group."
- TEXT MESSAGES: We send out weekly text messages to help you stay in the know! To sign up for our text message service, simply send the text "stonegateyouth" to the number "41411." It is a free service for you (standard text messaging rates do apply).
- STUDENTS WEB PAGE: We will post information for all our upcoming events on this webpage. Just look to the left hand side of this page under the "Students" link to see what all is on the horizon.
