Preschool and Children

Family matters at Stonegate Church. We believe that the health of our church can be measured by the spiritual growth of our members - even the youngest ones. It is our desire to partner with parents in the Biblical upbringing of children through Camp Stonegate for children 5th grade and below or lil Camp Stonegate for preschool age. Our Children's and Preschool Ministry is dedicated to engaging each child in Bible teaching, reinforcing Scripture that should be taught at first in the home.

It is our sole desire to help your child know and grow closer to Jesus from a young age. This is an awesome responsibility that we do not take lightly. Each volunteer must first go through extensive training and a thorough background check. All rooms are checked for safety on a weekly basis. Your children's health is important to us, so all workers must also follow strict health guidelines for the prevention of the spread of germs.

It is sometimes difficult for children to be separated from their parents. We ask that you prepare your children ahead of time so that they will understand the importance of their time and yours as you seek to grow closer to God. Please see the Check-In Procedure tab for suggestions on how to do this. Camp Stonegate is not simply a babysitting service, it is a safe place where children learn about Jesus, are encouraged, loved and prayed for, as well as make friends.
